About Valentina Cirasola

Valentina Cirasola

Valentina Cirasola is a trained Interior Designer, Italian born and expatriate to USA a few years ago. She is a creative master in the art of living who makes little distinction between work and play.

In her working life she has been a fashion designer in her first company in Italy; she has been an interior designer in her American company and will continue on this path for many more years.

Valentina is a curious person, interested in a variety of subjects, the reason why her life is a continuous evolvement of colorful events.

When she made the move to cross the Ocean, with a luggage full of dreams, she knew it wasn’t going to be easy, but she also knew that the best place to work from that moment on was going to be in her own company.

She has made a mark with Mediterranean Style and has served a high-end, sophisticated and demanding Clientele for 21 years now. It has been said that:

“her success is attributed to her ability as an artist to create the unexpected and to stimulate the client’s emotions”. She is a listener and can resolve any design challenges her Clients present to her.

As a trained designer, she covers quite a broad spectrum of elements and her qualifications are such that she can be involved in many areas of both commercial and residential projects. She focus mainly on remodeling of any space with architectural drawings. Valentina loves to turn ugly space into castles, but especially loves to design kitchens and wine grottos and renovate historical homes.

She designs and finds the way to manufacture locally, all that is needed for her clientele’s homes, such as furniture, lighting fixtures, iron gates and any iron sculpture pieces, rugs, draperies, kitchen/bath furniture and much more. And that is a plus!

In May 2005, she was appointed to decorate one of the historical homes on the tour organized by the Los Altos Historical Museum Fourth Annual Spring Home and Garden Showcase, in California. In 2010 she decorated Christmas Around The World at the historic Ainsley House in Campbell, CA.

She has made four appearances on the local T.V. Comcast Channel 15 for the shows:

“On The Town” – “Colorful Journey of Success” – “That’s Italian!” and “Christmas at Historic Ainsley House”.

Next June 2011, Italian T.V. Station Leonardo will be filming the homes Valentina designed in the San Francisco Bay Area in the show: “California Living”. It will be aired in Italy at the end of 2011.

Her projects have been featured and published on Vogue magazine in Italy, Gentry South and Gentry Peninsula, California Home & Design, Nob Hill Gazette San Francisco, Bay Living, RSVP, Palo Alto Weekly and Daily, Today’s Living and Avaliving.

She is also a writer of her books and a guest writer for various publications in California.

Valentina is the quintessential of energy and creativity. With her two published books on the Italian regional cuisine she is showing the world how to eat good and staying healthy while cooking simple food. She has plans to write three more books in the next four years.

With all that she does, she has time to devote her help to the community and various societies supporting worthwhile causes like the work of the Peninsula Volunteers and the Woodside-Atherton Auxiliary benefiting the children of Stanford Lucille Packard Hospital.

This in short is her life novel, the rest to come is still her reality unfolding.
