Although the amount of debt owed by U.S. households has decreased to almost 2 percent, it still remains at more than $11 trillion. One of the major contributors is the credit card debt, which sits at over $850 million, at an average of $15,300. The others are mortgages and student loans. What does this data mean? A lot of U.S. families are actually having such a hard time paying off their debts. If they default, they affect their credit score tremendously that they may only experience more difficulty getting worthy loans. To make matters worse, if they continue to stop paying their dues, they may eventually declare bankruptcy, pulling their score down even further.

All hope is not lost, though. There are many ways on how to lift the credit score, make the report a lot better again, and even get around some of the loopholes of the credit bureaus. You learn all this from a brilliant writer.

Robert Hammond is a prolific creator, a writer. Over his many years in the field, he has worked on many books and screenplays. One of his famous works is the close-up for Cecil DeMille, a biopic aptly called Hollywood. He also wrote two books for the director, Ready When You Are: Cecil B. DeMille’s Ten Commandments for Success and C.B. DeMile: The Man Who Invented Hollywood.

Right now he has extended his work to include ghost writing, tag and log lines, technical research, marketing, brainstorming, coaching, creative consulting, analysis, concept development, biography, and book proposal. Robert is also bringing his talent to the community by teaching in schools.

He has also penned a very popular novel, The Light, which is about Abel Adams. Although he seems to be a brilliant person, he’s fallen into the dark side through drug abuse. The story then revolves around his downfall and search toward the “light,” the source of his redemption and freedom.

However, before he achieved huge success as a writer, producer, and teacher, he was like one of the many U.S. families today: he was so deep in debt. He had no other person to blame but himself who spent too much on the want. Nevertheless, he didn’t grieve over his mistakes. Instead, he taught himself how to get out of it. This eventually lead to a series of self-help or guide books that enlighten the readers onto so many things about consumer debt and bad credit.

These include Repair Your Own Credit. The current is its third edition. It sheds a light onto so many things, such as the dirty tactics employed by collection services. This is a great follow-up to How to Get All the Credit You Want. From this book, the readers will learn the sensible and easy-to-follow ways to rebuild their credit, one of which is to know how to interpret the credit report. In Erase Your Bad Credit Record and Life After Debt: How to Repair Your Credit and Get Out of Debt Once and for All, he doesn’t just help you achieve a good credit report but also teaches you how to avoid going into the same problem all over again.
