ABOUT SANDRA B. TATE OF TATEWORKS

Sandra B. Tate

Sandra B. Tate is the host of Success PowerTalks™. She has over 15 years experience in the success coaching industry. She is the president and CEO of TateWorks, LLC, which was created in response to the work/life consulting needs of corporate Human Resources departments, training managers and employees in the Tri-State area.

She has devoted herself to help clients through Employer/Employee Appreciation workshops and one-on-one coaching to combine Work-Life creatively and successfully. Creating pro-business and pro-personal agendas is the clearest step to sharing appreciation and benefits for each other. She has developed personnel training programs incorporating effective communications strategies to promote top-level project success with critical business clients.

Sandra has her Human Communications/Psychology degree from Hunter College, City University of New York. In addition to her work at TateWorks™, she continues as a guest lecturer for community and corporate events. Recently she has concentrated her highly acclaimed motivational expertise on individual personal consulting services for life balance and work-life solutions.

“One of the topics that has been sorely missed in our schools is how to be successful in life,” Sandra says. “Despite the fact that there is a great deal of information available from various sources, our research showed that a large percentage of the population still did not understand the basics or how to apply them to their specific situation.

As a result, many people are facing greater social and economic problems than ever before. And while some initiatives are underway to correct portions of this problem, there is still a large segment of our population that will be left behind — those who have long since left school. Life coaching has long been a passion of mine and I created the Success PowerTalks™ – Success Strategies for Life radio program as a way of filling in the knowledge gap in an entertaining way for those who are struggling with life’s unfortunate pitfalls and roadblocks.”

  1. This was a great interview. It is candid and inspiring to anyone who takes the time to listen. Everyone has a story. We are all faced with challenges at some point and time in our lives, but the beauty is that we have within each of us the ability to overcome adversity, poverty, and circumstances. Sandra Tate is an overcomer. She is using the work and purpose within her to bring hope, educate, and help others who may be struggling to focus on the positive, move forward, and overcome. For anyone who does not know of her, it doesn’t take long to see that she is encouraging, inspiring, and motivating; a personality to know and a voice to hear. Thank you Phillipe Shock Matthews for bringing quality interviews that exposes others to the best positive leaders and individuals who are making a difference, while educating and inspiring others to move forward.

Very inspirational interview. Sandra story is a benchmark for other children who share the same experiences of mental, emotion abuse from parents and guardians, However, She turned tragedy into triumph by discovering her God given talents early in life by focusing on academics. But Sandra never plays the victim, only the victor. Her journey needs to be share with the rest of the world who suffers from the same or more difficult experiences. Awe inspiring and motivational interview. Good Job Phillppe!

  3. Thank you so much Ms. Tate, Sandra for your motovating classroom teaching on self worth in the work place. Many of us in America are selling ourselves short when it comes to letting our potential employer khow how much we need to get paid as a salary. I think that your teachings come at a very good time for advice, because our economy is in dire straits right now! Our country’s budget is having a domino effect on all in our community and worldwide!I, for one, am working overseas making almost 6 figures away from my family. I would love to make a decent amount of money close by my family and raise my children at the same time. So we sacrifice. And we all end up scratching our collective heads wondering where does this all lead in the world of making that almighty dollar and having self dignity and respect as to what we are really worth in the worplace (with all of our work eperiences and education). You said that we must do our homework on researching a company for work. I could not agree more….And realize that “A job is not the same thing as a career”, as one of your students proclaimed. And again I would have to agree. We need to raise the bar if we are to acclaim our self worth in the work force. Thanks Sandra for this information. And you did a great interview with Mr. Philippe Mathews on how you underwnet a tough childhood to be the successful adult in our community today! Keep coaching us all to be successful in all aspects of life. You are truly a wonderful person.
