Congo Bans Plastic Bags to Fight Pollution

BRAZZAVILLE (Reuters) – The Republic of Congo has banned the production, import, sale and use of plastic bags in a move to fight environmental pollution in the Central African nation, government spokesman Bienvenu Okiemy said Thursday.
